"... let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Matthew 5:16

Shine... Serve

Jesus said, "You are the light of the world." (Matthew 5:14) Authentic Christians are called to have an impact on the world, shining the light of Christ's love through caring words and actions. Wilmore Christian Church is shining the light of the gospel both at home and around the world.  Look below for missions we support, and projects we have undertaken to help others know about the love of God.
Work/Service Projects

A crew from Wilmore Christian went to tornado-ravaged eastern Kentucky in the West Liberty community on Saturday, March 17, 2012. They worked clearing debris from a demolished mobile home that had been tossed by the storm from the mountainside, across a road, and into a stand of pine trees.

Sadly, the team learned that an elderly couple owned the property. 87 and 90 years old, they perished in the storm. After the team completed their work day, they stood in a circle and prayed for help and comfort for the survivors of this devastating storm. To see a photo album, visit our page for News & Events.
