Pastor Dale's life verse

Meet the Pastor

Dale L. Dragomir

Pastor Dale L. Dragomir came to WCC in February of 2012. He is a graduate of Malone University, and received his Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1979. Dale married his wife, Rhonda (Johnson) in 1978. Rhonda is a 1978 graduate of Asbury University, with a B.S. degree in Social Work. She currently works for Evangelism Resources, a non-denominational mission headquartered in Wilmore.

After seminary, Dragomir was a youth pastor for two years in West Milton, Ohio. Dale then became senior pastor of an Evangelical Friends Church in Greensboro, NC, where the couple stayed for 23 years. In 1990 Dale and Rhonda traveled to Romania (the nationality of the Dragomir name) and adopted their only child, Jana.

Dale has a wide variety of pastoral and occupational experience. In North Carolina he was a volunteer hospital chaplain, a guest and host on a local television show, "Ask the Pastor," and helped to begin a private school at his church.  Since coming to Kentucky in 2004, he has been a substitute teacher in Jessamine County, a landscape technician for Nature's Expressions, Inc., and a part-time employee of Rupp Arena. Currently, his full-time employment is as an agent for AFLAC insurance.

Dale's primary love as a pastor is to preach the Word of God. His sermons are based upon the Bible, and he makes his messages practical for daily living.

He also focuses on helping the church to develop authentic relationships, both with our loving God and with each other. To learn more about how Wilmore Christian Church believes biblical Christian living affects relationships, see our web page entitled "Share."
